One Rifle, Every Load

Your loads live under your rifle, where they belong.

Most ballistics apps force a new rifle profile every time you want to try a different bullet, which makes no sense. Almost nobody owns one rifle per load. You own a rifle, and you try five loads through it before you find the one it likes.

How it works

Create a rifle profile once: caliber, barrel length, twist rate, twist direction, zero distance, sight height, scope click value. Then add as many ammo profiles underneath it as you want. Factory Hornady ELD-X today, your own handload next week, a friend's pet load you want to test this weekend.

Every ammo profile carries its own ballistic coefficient, muzzle velocity, and bullet weight, but inherits the rifle's mechanical truth: the zero, the twist, the sight height. You're never re-entering the same barrel specs three times just to compare three loads.

Switching between them on the Solve screen is one tap. Your dope doesn't reset, your zero doesn't reset. Only the ballistic profile of what's coming out of the barrel changes.

Why it matters

A truck full of components and one rifle is a normal Tuesday for a handloader. Atlas is built around that reality instead of pretending everyone shoots one load forever.
